Introducing the McMurdo Fastfind Ranger GPS and Galileo PLB. The first PLB offering accelerated location detection with both GPS and Galileo GNSS receivers. The Fastfind Ranger from Seas of Solutions (who manufacture both Kannad and McMurdo brands), is a MEOSAR compatible Personal Location Beacon (PLB) used on land and sea to provide dierect access to the world's Search and Rescue professionals via the COSPAS-SARSAT system, transmitting on the dedicated 406MHz frequency. The world's first multi-constellation PLB, the Ranger offers increased global detection coverage and precise location coordinates to accelerate the rescue process. The PLB has a unique ID, so the moment it is activated, the rescue services know it is you they are looking for. Typical applications include sailing, hiking, kayaking, diving, flying, lone working, expeditions and much more. The Fastfind Ranger is built on the same chassis as the McMurdo Fastfind 220 PLB, but offers increased rubberised protection to suit any environment.
